Pvt. William Adams

William Adams was a resident of Rowan County, North Carolina, and lived there amongst his brothers (who eventually settled in Kentucky). He served in the Continental Army and died in Valley Forge of measles. His son Moses came to the Adams Colony in the Mayking area of Letcher County after it was established by his uncles.
